Singer<\/a>, has published a dandy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nysba.org\/Sections\/Dispute_Resolution\/Dispute_Resolution_PDFs\/An_Arbitration_Primer_For_Litigators.html\">23-page booklet<\/a> to introduce lawyers accustomed to the courtroom to the intricacies and nuances of representing a client in arbitration. \u00a0as the Introduction notes:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is a common misconception among litigation attorneys that any attorney who has represented a client in court is completely prepared to represent a client in domestic arbitration. \u00a0[In fact] the differences between these processes are significant, and could easily prove to be traps for the unwary.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/modicalawfirm.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/statebarsymbolny.jpg\" width=\"279\" height=\"279\" \/><\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Brief and pithy essays are then provided by some of the leading lights of arbitration practice: \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.plmadr.com\/\">Peter Michaelson<\/a> on selecting arbitrators, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marrowlaw.com\/\">Paul Bennett Marrow<\/a> on issues of arbitrability, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mentzadr.com\/\">Barbara Mentz<\/a> on conducing a preliminary conference, <a href=\"http:\/\/johnwilkinsonlaw.com\/john-wilkinson.htm\">John Wilkinson<\/a> and discovery, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kraussny.com\/\">Geri S.
